Mid-April I hit Holland/Belgium for a mini roadtrip to visit some new parks, including Drievliet, Duinrell, Walibi Belgium and Bellewaerde. We also did the touristy thing in Brussels and Bruges, somewhere I’ve always wanted to visit. Belgium is stunning with some amazing architecture and history. The parks were OK at best, with some cool theming on newer rides but nothing stand out that would make me visit again, it’s just satisfying to have more countries/parks ticked off of the list! I also rode my 500th coaster on this trip, a Maurer Sohne launch coaster called Forumle X which is just outside The Hague in the Netherlands. It was loads of fun and as always, just nice to visit somewhere a bit different and take in some European culture.
