Hello there!
Hello and welcome to my blog! I did have another one but it got a bit old and tired and crap. Anyway, I write a lot of trip reports and reviews over at my forum Coasterforce.com and thought rather than keep my writing hidden over there I should start sharing it with the world. I'm a total theme park nut, I usually do 4-5 trips a year abroad plus a ton of UK visits. I love the Merlin attractions but am also really interested in exploring the weirder (and usually more wonderful) independently owned attractions you can find across the UK, so expect many updates from places like that.
You can also expect a few in-depth analysis pieces. Since I've finished my Masters degree (woo, yay, hoorah!) I need something to keep me going! I do have some collaboration pieces planned with my fellow enthusiast over at Theme Park Thoughts and I also plan on doing one analysis per month on attractions that interest me.
So this month so far I've been to Europe for my 23rd birthday (as Blink 182 say, nobody likes you when you're 23 so I have to love myself instead and treat myself to lots of holidays ;]). I visited three of my most favourite parks in the world: Efteling, Phantasialand and Toverland, a review of which shall be added shortly. And of course it being October my diary is packed with Halloween events! I've already done one visit to Fright Nights over at Thorpe Park, I'll upload some reviews of the mazes shortly, and on Thursday I'm heading to Shocktober Fest at Tulleys Farm for their scare events, so there's plenty of material to come.
Despite themed attractions being the main theme of this blog there will also be some film stuff, hair and make-up items and feminism stuff uploaded, anything that interests me really! So yeah, if you like any of that stuff I feel like I'll be worth a read. Peace out.
