V Day Realness - What To Wear This Valentine's Day

Oh I do love a theme and Valentine's Day is the perfect excuse to dress us like a vintage Hollywood starlet and not feel like you're on your way to a costume party! I've put together a little what to wear based on all of my latest heart themed favs!

Last Christmas I stumbled across a gorgeous store called Coco Fennell, specialising in vintage inspired dresses in a classic cut but featuring kitschy designs. I've picked out these two cute little numbers as they're perfect for a love themed soirée or a night at the movies with that special someone! The Cupid Dress on the left features a simple black design adorned with little heart appliques and the I Love You Dress on the right is a button up design with adorable hearts embroidered on the collar. The perfect mix of classic and modern!

Make-up for Valentine's I'm thinking a classic red lip and a modern take on the smokey eye. I've gone for Anna Nicole by Jeffree Star Cosmetics which is a gorgeous orangey-red shade and the Monarch Eyeshadow Palette by Kat Von D Cosmetics; a fab mixture of reds, browns, golds and blacks.

The Vivienne Westwood Nero Chancery Heart Bag is something I've had on my wishlist for forever. A girl can dream eh? I'll continue scouring eBay for a bargain...

I feel like V Day is the one day of the year you can go totally OTT with underwear. I know they're not exactly sexy but these Heart Socks by Lazy Oaf were too adorable not to include! Ending of things on a slightly more adult note then is the Be Mine Bralette by For Love and Lemons Skivvies - not that I'd get my boobs in this by a long mile but it's cute nonetheless!

It'd be a dream to saunter around the city with my man dressed to the nines in an outfit like this for Valentine's Day! What are your must haves for Feb 14th? Are you dressing up and hitting to town or snuggling up and watching a movie? Let me know in the comments, I'd love to have a chat!
